Slieve League - hiking on the “One man pass”

Slieve League is a beautiful mountain on the south west Atlantic coast of County Donegal, Ireland. At 601 metres, it has some of the highest sea cliffs on the island of Ireland.

The hike starts at the famous Bunglass viewing point.

Standing at the viewing point, look down into the sea below you will see two rock formations which look very like a huge desk and chair. These are called "The Giant's Desk and Chair"

The route continues along the ridge crossing the famous path known as the "One man pass". While the path is narrow it is not dangerous.

The return route follows the pilgrim way downward, and continues along a high level ridge before descending to the pilgrim way.

This hike is highly recommended for its stunning views from the highest sea cliffs in Ireland.
